Rules and Scoring
- Best of five matches. Write down the game score (e.g. 3-1) on the ladder sheet. This may be used in case of a tie.
- Try your best to play all who ask you to play.
- Two points for playing, plus one extra point for the win.
- The top two scores from a ladder will challenge the bottom two from the next ladder.
- Scores will be tallied up at the end of each month. This will be followed by a challenge night. Call the club to see who you play or check the sheet. If you can’t make the challenge night, you will have the opportunity to play your opponent within a 3 to 5 day period after the challenge matches have been determined.
- Because we don’t know everyone’s skill level, initially you may not be in the appropriate box, so just keep winning to move up. This will give beginners a chance to play better players.
- Above all else, HAVE FUN.
This is a great way to commit yourself to play and to meet new players. All levels are welcome and encouraged. There is no cost but you should ask the ladder coordinator about the deadline to sign up. You may also sign up at any other time to be included on the following months ladder. Once you have signed up you do not need to continue to sign up for the following months. You can sign up at the club or you can contact Jon Richard at 716-3505 with your Name, phone number and level.
